Kick-off Pride Month in the Park with Resistance Revival Chorus (RCC) at Sunset on the Hudson! RCC is a collective of more than 60 women and non-binary singers who join together to breathe joy and song into the resistance and to uplift and center women’s voices.
The chorus members are touring musicians, film and television actors, Broadway performers, solo recording artists, gospel singers, political activists, educators, filmmakers, artists, and more, representing many identities, professions, creative backgrounds, and activist causes. The RRC centers on women in music and addresses how historically marginalized women have been in the music industry.
The sounds of summer are brought right to Hudson River Park — their free Sunset on the Hudson series passes the mic to established and emerging NYC-based artists across a wide range of genres.
There’s no better way to kick off the weekend than with an evening of spectacular live music and signature HRPK sunsets on our West Village riverfront. Among the many exciting events offered this season, Sunset on the Hudson is undoubtedly one you won’t want to miss. From brass to choral, bass to alto, and so much more, there is something special for everyone.
So, grab your friends, pack some snacks and join Hudson River Park every Friday night this season!
