The streets of Meatpacking are getting into the fall spirit with a day of trick-or-treating for adults and children alike! Find kid and adult-friendly treats, games and activities, live music, and the 4th Annual Meatpacking Doggie Costume Contest! Stores and restaurants will be open throughout the neighborhood with treats and delights at every stop. Attendees are invited to walk around the district to fill up their bags with items from around the district.

ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE DAY:

11 am – 5 pm: Live music on Gansevoort Plaza, W. 13th St., + Hudson River Park’s 14th St. Park

• 11 am – 5 pm: Artists & Fleas Outdoor Market in Hudson River Park’s 14th St. Park

• 11 am – 2 pm: Pet Portraits by Laura Baran in Hudson River Park’s 14th St. Park – limited quantity

• 12 pm: Drag Queen Story Hour on Little West 12th St.

• 2 pm: The Meatpacking District’s 4th Annual Doggie Costume Contest on Little W 12th St. Grand prize is an overnight stay at the dog-friendly Gansevoort Hotel! Early registration for pups is now open. Onsite registration will be available until 1:30 pm on October 22.

• 2 – 5 pm: Mini astrology and tarot card readings by Maya Netzer at Chelsea Market (in a booth on 15th street – closer to 9th Ave.)

• 3 – 4 pm: Spooky Storytime at the Google Store

• 3 – 5 pm: Pet Portraits by Laura Baran in Hudson River Park’s 14th St. Park – limited quantity

• All Day: Edward Hopper Opening Weekend at the Whitney Museum of American Art
