Kids sported their spookiest costumes to collect Halloween candy in Chelsea Market Friday. The market held its fifth annual Halloween Jam-Boo-Ree on Friday afternoon. Children and parents agreed that it's a great place to be for trick-or-treating. "I knew this would be a good place to come to make sure they got enough candy," said a parent. "This is the best event in the city for children. It?s inside, it?s well monitored, and it?s well-run," said another. "It?s really fun and it?s safe, we're having a good time," said a third. The event also featured face painting, pumpkin carving and balloon animals.
