Dizengoff

Named for one of Tel Aviv’s most iconic streets, Dizengoff NYC is an authentic, Israeli-style hummus stall (hummusiya) like the ones found around every corner in Israel.

And just like in Israel, Dizengoff serves only freshly-made hummus (heavy on the tehina) – topped with rotating seasonal garnishes like hot spiced lamb with pine nuts or avocado with harissa – accompanied by fresh, hearth-baked pita, chopped salad, and Israeli pickles.

This Chelsea Market outpost also offers shakshuka all day (a North-African dish of spicy tomato stew with baked eggs and fresh pita) – as well as Lemonnana (Israeli-style frozen mint lemonade), Israeli wines by the glass, and local craft beer to wash down this vibrant and healthful meal that is a staple of every slice of Israeli society.

There’s no cheaper ticket to Israel than a trip to Dizengoff!
